The Mini-Symposium MS30 “Video-based and Imaging techniques for structural monitoring” will be included in the activities of the SMAR 2026 Conference – 8th International Conference on Smart Monitoring, Assessment and Rehabilitation of Civil Structures, in Dresden, Germany on 26-28 August 2026.
The Mini-Symposium MS30 will explore the latest advancements in the field of video-based and imaging techniques for structural monitoring as complementary or alternative methods to conventional ones, with particular emphasis on:
– Advances in Digital Image Correlation applications to experimental tests;
– Motion Capture techniques for laboratory and real-field applications to structural monitoring;
– Video-based methods and processing;
– Image processing for structural monitoring;
– LASER-based and other optical/contactless techniques;
– Applications to case studies.
MS30 Mini-Symposium aims to provide attendees with an opportunity for knowledge exchange among researchers, practitioners, and industry experts, fostering innovation and collaboration in the cutting-edge field of video-based and imaging techniques for structural monitoring and control.
