Florin Cristinel Stan has been a PhD student in the Department of Engineering at Roma Tre University since December 2024. He obtained his MSc in March 2024 with a thesis entitled “Structural analysis of megalithic complexes with 3D modelling of distinct elements”.

His research focuses on the seismic response of historic masonry buildings using three-dimensional discrete element models.
